Day Program Opening Soon!

Alternative Home Care Specialists will be opening a Day Program in the very near future!  It will be located at 1531 Ambassador Caffrey in Lafayette, Louisiana.  I.M.P.A.C. (Involvement Makes Productive Active Citizens) is the name of the new day program and it will offer one of a kind opportunities for consumers to experience a variety of activities in a relaxed and fun environment.

• Consumers will learn employment related skills and life skills enabling them to participate as independently as possible. 
• Social skills, movement and motion, and arts and crafts will also be included in the day program. 
• Good nutrition will be discussed.
• Education units will incorporate math, science, and nature. 
• Games will provide a fun way to encourage sensory awareness along with developing fine and gross motor skills.

Our consumers attending IMPAC will be stimulated and provided a unique opportunity to learn and develop individual life skills.
